We are a new firm built on a long foundation. Black Crest is young by design — but the people behind it are not new to building. We started this firm to do one thing well: put real capital and real operating experience behind the kind of people we used to be.
The Difference
Most investment firms are built by people who have spent their careers around money. Black Crest was built by people who have spent their careers building companies — hiring teams, making payroll, fixing what broke, and growing operations from a single location into something far larger.
That's not a line on a pitch deck for us. It's the whole reason the firm exists. We've sat in the operator's chair, and we never forgot what it felt like to need a partner who actually understood the work.
Our Founders
Black Crest Ventures was founded by two entrepreneurs who built, scaled, and operated multiple companies of their own before turning to investing. Between them they have launched businesses from nothing, grown them across multiple locations, built the operational and marketing engines that carried them, and lived through every stage of the climb — the early scramble, the growth pains, and the discipline it takes to make something last.
That hands-on background shapes everything about how Black Crest invests. The founders don't evaluate businesses from a distance. They recognize what they're looking at, because they've built it themselves.

What We Believe
We invest in people first. We believe exceptional founders and operators, given the right capital and the right support, can build businesses that genuinely last. We've seen it because we've done it — and now we partner with the next group of builders doing the same.
